Odell Beckham Jr is known for having some of the largest hands on the football field. His amazing Catches and lightening speed is what has made him one of the most talked about players in the NFL today, rightfully so. If you've seen any of his highlight clips, you would probably think so as well.

Throughout the rest of the world, “Football” is referred to as a different sport – Soccer, as many Americans know it. Well did you know the Odell Beckham Jr was told to pursue his soccer career when he was younger? Could you imagine him on the soccer field? Nah? Neither could we, until we saw this video.
That's a 46-yard field goal he kicked with little to no problems. And if we're honest with each other , most kickers can't do that with that kind of accuracy!
According to NBC Sports, Beckham Jr said “I started when I was three years old and played until I was about 14, My coach was pushing to try and get me on the national team and tryout. At that age, you’re 13, 14 years old you know that to make it big in soccer you are probably going to have to go overseas. Obviously that would be a goal and that would be the dream. At that age it would have been hard for me to leave my family and just go. I played every other sport, soccer, basketball, baseball, football. And I just said, ‘I don’t think I can leave my family.’ So that’s when I kind of put the soccer dreams aside and stuck close to home with the other sports.”
Beckham Jr is a Sports Phenom – He knows it, and its time to accept it. He had the opportunity to make it big in almost any sport he wanted, but he choose Football – and we're sure glad he did. He later goes on to say that he see's himself as “Neymar, Messi type of guy” as a soccer player – that's a rather large statement, considering Neymar and Messi are the TOP athletes of the Soccer world. Messi actually topped the charts at #4 of the Top 10 Highest Paid Athletes in the World and Neymar was the Most Marketable Athlete in the World, 2 years in a ROW!
We would love to see Odell Beckham Jr on the Soccer Field, but in order to keep up with the Pro's, he's got a lot of footwork to get figured out beforehand considering he already has the speed and agility in line.
